Magnetic Drums Separator is a drum magnet with housing outside for mounting purposes. It has all the benefits of a drum magnet but easier to install.

Magnetic Drums Separator is designed for continuous self-cleaning of metal contaminants from product flow streams. The materials usually have the characters of dry, bulk, and have a high concentration of iron contaminants contained. The main benefit of this unit is working without line stopping.

Magnetic drum separators have a wide range of applications. They are used in free-fall chutes or after a vibratory chute for powders (even fine powders), granulates, fibers, and coarser product streams (non-sticky). They continuously and fully automatically separate ferromagnetic (Fe) particles, such as iron and steel.

If the material is supplied via a vibratory chute, it is possible to separate weakly magnetic particles, such as particles from machined stainless steel, and even paramagnetic particles. Due to the continuous cleaning, the drum magnet is very suitable for product flows with heavy magnetic particle contamination.

Magnetic Drums Separator has a magnetic part of 180 degrees fan-shaped internal which is stationary. The other half-space is totally non-magnetized. When material drops onto the drum cover surface, the metal contaminants will be attracted on the magnetic part while materials pass through.

As the drum cover is rotating invariable, the iron contaminant will follow its orbit to a non-magnetized part and consequently it discharged down.
